Thanks for the information. I switched to State Farm from my prior insurance company because after 26 years of no accidents or moving violations I was paying a 50% higher rate! So I am very curious as to how this system will work. Waiting for my beacon to start my Safe & Save driving 🚗

Well there not crushing it now. Took my premium up $230 w/o any claims and violations. Told me I wouldn't get a discount for trying.

I just cancelled my policy for basic liability for 2 vehicles Ohio I first paid $700 for a year the following renewal year went up to $941 and I had to argue them down to that then this year 24 months in they tried raising it to $1560!! They are smoking crack they thought I was going to pay that. They must be purposely trying to lose all their customers they aren’t stupid they know peopel aren’t going to pay these prices. They didn’t even try to negotiate or lower it even once cent I couldn’t believe it. $1560 is more then my family pays for full coverage on their brand new cars! Also I am accident and ticket free perfect record and own all my vehicles out right. I only pay insurance to be legal to drive I fix and pay cash for my stuff no usery out of me mr banker. Not sure who to call now also have to cancel my motorcycle policy they did the same thing to it also doubling the rate each year. They either purposely want to lose customers or there is a plan here these corporations aren’t stupid maybe when they lose all the customers then they will cry to the government for bail out there’s some plan in play here for them to win by losing all their customers these Zionist owned greedy companies might make terrible decisions on purpose but never be fooled they are smart and know exactly what they are doing for a reason

Allstate, literally told my sister that they would no longer accept her as a customer because she lapsed 3 days in the policy. That was crazy, she had to find a new insurance company. I guess she wasn't in good hands "as they claim". I've always learned, insurance companies are not your friends, you're not in good hands and they aren't your good neighbors.

GEICO years ago was decent auto insurance co. But not anymore. Example, 30+ years with no tickets, accidents ! A perfect record. And thats not good anymore. They just continue to raise your rates regardless. Stay away from GEICO ! ! !😒

Requiring people with under 10k value car to pay for your 80k car is the problem with liability insurance. States should cap a driver's liability and people with expensive cars pay more for underinsured - regardless of liability.

Hard disagree on Geico. I've had 2 claims with them 15 years apart - the last one being 6 months ago and they took care of me quickly and efficiently both times. And neither accident affected my rates at all. Important to remember that this guy is in the insurance business with a quote link. Sorry, conflict of interest.

If people are wondering why they accept family members of Service Members and Veterans it’s because of IQ levels. A persons IQ is genetic, to enlist in the military one needs a minimum IQ of 83 but the average is much higher towards 115 (and no, the Infantry isn’t populated by morons, the average IQ in the Infantry branch is 120). So a child of a Veteran will have a similar IQ and military members/Veterans tend to have both parents in the home for the children so better values are baked in accordingly. It’s not a perfect assessment but it’s what USAA chose to go with, my view is that this has increased the risk levels and raised the prices on its own. But throw in the failures in USAA’s other ventures and plain old greed, they seem to care less about doing the right thing for their policy holders.

Thank you for your review. USAA dinged me for using my phone. I was parked with the car on with 100's of people in the same situation. I'm in Vegas. When the temperature is between 90-111 degrees am I supposed to turn the car and the air conditioning off so I could take more of my language class on-line while I waited? I guess next time I think I will be in the same situation, I'll bring a book or magazine with me. They also dinged me repeatedly for being a passenger. Fortunately, I keep a record on my calendar where I have been and knew I was not the driver each time. There was a button that allowed me to note I was the passenger and the app stated that the mark against me was removed. I'm not happy with this program, but will keep with it to see if I can achieve a discount. If it's too sensitive and continually gives false impressions I will leave it.

Joined 34 yrs ago in 1988. Back then it was very exclusive and it was the absolute best company. They catered to a niche population. But then greed took over and growing and making money became the objective. The company went down the drain but past few years it has gone to depths I never thought possible. I dropped them. I got a much better deal with Geico. I am in Florida. It’s a darn shame.

I like AAA... they have been fair. Agree... you have to be with them for awhile.. I just had their membership for 20 years. Lots of benefits. I have had the 100 free miles of towing, and the 200 miles of towing. It had come in handy in the past. May not be the cheapest, but they are fair. Ok one time I broke down, in the middle of no where,... 200 miles from my city. It was actually 210 miles... they had a person there in an hour and they towed me the whole way.. no charge. You can't abuse it though. You only get a limited number a year. Still helpful. State Farm gave me a cheaper rate but AAA treats me better. Allstate cost a fortune.

One of the earliest things in my life I remember was at age 5 (1955) when my Dad told me "Son, never buy Allstate Insurance". I have followed that advise all of my life. I personally have found Farmers, Shelter, and State Farm to never have any issues. The most important key is to find and have a great agent who will go to bat for you hitting a home run every time (when needed) going that extra mile for you. One example is how a Shelter agent "cherry picked" a claims person to get my roof replaced from a hale storm.
